The webinar featured speakers Ms Sonia Mokdad, General Manager, Hilti Far East Pte Ltd and Ms Kingkan Patibat, Regional Technical Manager, Hilti Asia Pacific Pte Ltd. Both women shared from their experiences in the healthcare sector and how penetrations created to deliver services leave gaps through which airborne diseases can pass. This presents a safety risk in the event of a fire. In the ‘live’ QnA session, Ms Kingkan discussed the risks, important design considerations and innovative solutions for barrier management that simultaneously reduce noise, control airflow and keep occupants safe in a fire emergency.
