LCH Quantity Surveying Pte Ltd

Natalie’s journey in the built environment began at the age of 13 when she first stepped onto a construction site. By 14, she had enrolled in a night class for interior design, solidifying her commitment to the Built Environment. She went on to earn a Diploma in Building and a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying.

With more than 20 years of professional experience, Natalie has lived and worked in Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States, gaining valuable exposure to international business practices and cultural contexts. This global perspective enhances her ability to navigate complex projects with commercial acumen and adaptability.

As the built environment becomes increasingly intricate, Natalie believes the role of a Quantity Surveyor extends far beyond measurement, costing, and contracts. She champions the profession’s broader value — combining negotiation, commercial problem-solving, and a commitment to fairness and justice. In this capacity, she has led teams serving as an expert witness in litigation and is also accredited as a mediator by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Today, Natalie leads LCH Quantity Surveying Pte Ltd, one of the few independent Quantity Surveying consultancy firms in Singapore. Under her leadership, she has expanded beyond the borders of Singapore, to South Korea and Timor Leste.

In 2022, she also spearheaded the successful acquisition of JIA Quantity Surveyors and Project Management, further strengthening the firm's presence in the Quantity Surveying practice.

Natalie’s Quote:

"Every building tells a story of vision, design, and craftsmanship. Yet behind that story is a vital profession often unseen — the quantity surveyor. They are the guardians of value and stewards of fairness, turning budgets into blueprints and contracts into trust.

With more than 50% of women QS in the industry,  we gain the assurance that what we build today will stand strong — not just in structure, but in value — for generations to come.

So let us actively champion and celebrate women in their role — because when we empower women quantity surveyors, we empower the future of the entire building industry."
