Mr Heng Teck Thai serves as Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Communication and Engagement) at the Building and Construction Authority (BCA), bringing over 20 years of experience across public and private sectors. His career spans roles at Singapore Economic Development Board, Boston Consulting Group, and various private equity and venture capital firms, focusing on investment deals, consulting, and portfolio management.

Teck Thai had successfully led the turnaround of PT BNI Securities as Commissioner and served as Partner at SMDV, Sinar Mas Group's venture arm. Previously, he was CEO of a marketing and loyalty tech startup in Indonesia and managed hotel properties in Bali. He holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering, an MSc in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University, and an MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Management.
