Er. Yap Boon Leong

Er. Yap Boon Leong currently holds the appointment of Senior Group Director of North-South Corridor (NSC) in Land Transport Authority (LTA). He graduated from the National University of Singapore with B. Eng (Hons) in Civil Engineering in 1990 and MSc (Civil) in 1994. He is a Professional Engineer in Singapore.

He has close to 35 years of experience in the design, project management and maintenance of land transport infrastructures. The notable projects that he has managed include the construction of Singapore Formula 1 street circuit, West Coast Highway Viaduct, Helix Bridge, Sentosa Gateway Tunnel, Lornie Highway, Tampines Viaduct, Seletar and Ulu Pandan bus depots.

Er. Yap is currently responsible for the project management of the NSC Project. The NSC will be Singapore's longest Transit Priority Corridor, featuring dedicated bus lanes, cycling trunk routes and pedestrian paths, to serve public bus commuters, active mobility users and pedestrians. Major part of the the NSC alignment runs within a heavily built-up areas and it represents one of the most challenging road tunnel projects ever be built in Singapore.
